I began my training in psychotherapy with Instituto Expansion, in Chile, where I gained a Diploma as a Facilitator in Therapeutic Change in 2006.

Once settled in the UK, I completed a 6-year training at the Cambridge Body Psychotherapy Centre (CBPC), and I am an advanced trainee member of the United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) and working towards full registration. I also have a Foundation Certificate in Biodynamic Massage (2017).

I am fully insured to a strict code of ethics in line with UKCP and CBPC, and I’m fully insured.

My Approach

At the centre of my work is the therapeutic relationship. I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental and confidential environment, which helps improve a person’s life. I aim to be a mindful companion of each client’s self-discovery process, offering my psychotherapeutic skills to caringly develop an in-depth exploration of who they are and what they need to have a fuller enjoyment of life.

A therapeutic plan is tailored to your specific needs.
We will discuss the methods and agree the best way of working together.

My work is based on and informed by body psychotherapy, humanistics approach-es, attachment theory and neuroscience.

My psychotherapeutic practice is also enriched by drawing from my cultural heritage as a second generation mestizo descendant of the Nahua indigenous group of central Mexico. .

I welcome both spiritual and secular views in my practice, depending on the person’s beliefs and sense of self.

Background & Experience

elemento01

I initially trained as a physical theatre actor in Mexico (1998-2003) and spent many years working on stage as a producer, director, actor and trainer in Latin America and Europe.

The Chilean government funded my artistic work, as well as my social work as an applied theatre practitioner. During this time, I worked in a men’s prison and with people at risk of social exclusion. Nowadays, I worked with theatre companies and conceptual artist offering creative consultancy.

I have been working with the bodily expression of emotions for over 20 years, first as an art-form, and now as a way of supporting others to live a fuller life through psychotherapy. I am absolutely passionate about both.
